don't see any reason for increased chances. best case remained the same, worst case - decreased. tend to think latter.

This post received KUDOS
To all international applicants... I have news!!! First of all, thank you all for all your comments and support. I love you all guys!!! I have been looking for information in this post since my boyfriend applied to the LGO on december 14th, he is an international candidate (without green card, he doesn´t live in United States) and with the same background as yours. Anyway I have followed all your posts and let me tell you that I have suffered the same as you in this admission process. My future also depends on the LGO decision because if my boyfriend gets accepted to the program, we are going to get married Anyway here is the good new: he received an invitation three or four hours ago. So don´t loose your faith. Remember deadline is March 7th, so don´t worry because everything is going to be fine. Invitations are coming to internationals PS. To Fsaq, If I were in the admissions committee I would choose because you have demonstrated so much interest in LGO

Light84, these are great news, I always knew that internationals would get late calls but I was truly loosing all hope seeing that no news came anyways. You are right, I wish this more than anything (just like many in this board). I dont want Harvard or Stanford even if I got admitted. I really want the LGO because of what the program is about. I wish your boyfriend the best of luck in his interview. Thank you so much for informing us about this. Thank you thank you!

Anyone hear anything from LGO? It's coming down to the wire. I'm highly skeptical that they will interview someone the week before mailing decisions. I hope I am wrong though!

I got a great email about one student's LGO internship...but I'm guessing that's not what you're talking about. It's just cruel to send us those emails the week before decision day.

I guess even a rejection letter won't get to us until end of next week, if it's mailed out on the 7th. Agonizing!

I share the pain with those waiting for news... the best of luck to us all. For the time being I am finding a glass of red wine at night makes things easier. Posted from my mobile device

Seattlemex, I am finding that a knife sexily caresing my wrists is far more relaxing than red wine. Kidding..

sammyt wrote: 2 days to go? It depends - according to last year's forum at least one lucky soul got a call on Friday. Most people seemed to be called Saturday or Sunday though. Or you could always believe the LGO website... "LGO will send admissions decisions on March 7, 2011 via US mail. LGO does not notify applicants online or via phone."
