I have a question on And vs Parallelism
The word AND creates a compound sentence, hence we require a plural verb with And.
Now my question is whether the following sentences are correct or not
The VOIP numbers are configured for Sanjiv, Ravi , and Vinod
The VOIP number is configured for Sanjiv, Ravi , and Vinod
First, remember that the main verb in a sentence is linked to the subject and not the object.
The VOIP numbers are configured for Sanjiv, Ravi , and Vinod
Subject: The VOIP numbers (plural)
Verb: are (plural)
Object(s): Sanjiv, Ravi , and Vinod
Here the verb is determined by the plural subject.
The VOIP number is configured for Sanjiv, Ravi , and Vinod
Subject: The VOIP number (singular)
Verb: is (singular)
Object(s): Sanjiv, Ravi , and Vinod
Same logic here.

Another doubt : When we use AND as a parallel marker , then all the sentences using AND will have plural verbs only or there can be a sentence using AND as a parallel marker which has a singular verb
I'm not sure about the general rule here but once again, I would look for the subject in the sentence to determine the nature of the verb.
eg.
Bunuel is making both
chicken tikka and ravioli. (singular verb for singular subject and objects are plural)
eg.
Both Bunuel and Daagh love baba ganoush. (plural verb for plural subject and object is singular)
