Debating about this school, seems great, and love the vibe I got.

This is definitely the easiest application there is, but I cant fit everything in to one 500 word essay

Hey Jordon. It is a great school with a great vibe. I've visited a few times and spoken with numerous students, and it has a close-knit feel and top-notch academics/professors.

As far as fitting everything into 500 words... it tests your ability to put together concise thoughts.

^^ Blah, blah. I know thats the way I have to look at it, but no other school asks all those things in anywhere near as few words. I can do it, in my opinion it wont have the strength of my other longer personal statements

I submitted my application on the deadline date. But the status hasn't been changed ever since then.

If someone is reviewing the application, would the status be changed to "under review"?

Thanks!

Yes, it does. I would call the admissions office... they're very kind and helpful.

Also, what are your stats?

Long time lurker on GC. Hope to be a regular contributor.

I had my interview with Simon Alum day before yesterday on skype audio and video.

Applied in Rd1 15th Oct. Invited around 10th Nov.
Profile : GMAT 730, 3.5 WEx in IT, Indian, Female, EC: volunteering exp.since last four years

This is how my Simon interview went:

He took first 10 mins to explain about himself and then he asked me to tell about myself.
What will you do after Simon?
A teamwork example
How my engineering skills will help me in finance?
How will I contribute at Simon?
What geographic area do I plan to work in after Simon? Have i been to US?Do I plan to stay in US?
Finally if i have any questions for him.

The interviewer was very friendly. He said he enjoyed talking to me. He even pointed out why he was asking me a particular question. The interview lasted for around 35 mins.
Hope this helps.

what was your answer to the question " which geographic area do you want to work in ?" and what was his reaction to your answer.

I said it won't depend on the location but on the kind of opportunity I will get and then built my answer around it. I think he liked what I said.
