Has any one on the waitlist heard anything yet? On the waitlist letter they said before June 11th.

I didn't hear anything yet but I think its over, all of us will get dinged by Friday. But I really feel bad for the situation being dragged on since January

For those looking for consolation/encouragement:

word from an adcom member I spoke to a few weeks ago: "this year has been exceedingly difficult for admissions. Too many good applications and many good candidates on wait list."

Yea, I think its all over too - I wish they told us right now and save us the misery of this wait.

I know is not going to work out but that 1% hope is making life miserable.

Today's the day when all hopes come crashing down. Adcom says that all movement now is just a matter of yield. In a tough year like this, I don't see too many people turning down W.
