For those looking for consolation/encouragement: word from an adcom member I spoke to a few weeks ago: "this year has been exceedingly difficult for admissions. Too many good applications and many good candidates on wait list."

Yea, I think its all over too - I wish they told us right now and save us the misery of this wait. I know is not going to work out but that 1% hope is making life miserable.

I have a cool option if I get dinged. I open a resort on an island near my place now no joke. ,-)
