FYI guys, July 9 is the deadline for admitted students to register for pre-term, which is also considered as "final confirmation that you are really going". There are a number of people who matriculated and paid deposits, but later got off the WL at H or S or decided not to go for whatever personal reason. So July 9th is the day when they get the final sense of how many spots are still remaining. Good luck all!
Congratulations to all who got in! To witlister's if Wharton is really your dream school then hold on. Once your in, it wouln't matter that you were waitlisted.
I was a R3 ding w/ interview. Planning to re-apply R1 next year.
Qustion: How many, if any, R3 interviewees were waitlisted?
Roll Call Updated I put the waitlists at the top, since those go across rounds and are the last thing left to track. If you see your nickname in the wrong area or colored black, please post an update with your status!

Thanks, this helps put things in perspective. I have been contacting current W students about Summer waitlist turnovers and seems like now it all depends on 'uniqueness' of profile, rather than ranks (other waitlists were more rank-based). Also, no one had heard of anyone from a summer waitlist accepted to the "next year's term". Do you have this on reliable authority that there were no other circumstances involved and it was just as simple as a summer-waitlister(one or more) being given entry to the next year's program?

A colleague of mine said he was accepted for the following year's term after being waitlisted three times - he had applied to the EMBA program at Wharton a couple of years ago. It could be an old practice, it could be EMBA-only, or it could be circumstantial - especially if others can't corroborate.
good luck to you all on the WL.. I doubt they would give out admits for next year! i still see about 700 people sign up on the facebook group..so hang in there..there are still a few spots left in the class...
If you are waiting for the summer list, feel free to mention your industry in the next post. If summer waitlists provide a pool for Wharton to fill gaps in uniqueness of applicants for the class of 2012, it would be interesting to know which industries we represent. I will append the info to the main list on page 1.
