Re: GMAT at 40 [#permalink]
Hi Walker - followed your advise, without sharing the score of gmatprep I can tell you I need to work on verbal & quant with equal importance. Usually I have noted that our clubbers at least come with strength in either of the sides. Question is should I start with both subjects simultaniously or start with anyone/which one? Any thought?

In both section you can define your weaknesses and I would recommend to concentrate on them first. Verbal and Quant are too general.

This depends on your ability to multitask - I prefer deep dive one at a time. Then, when I was done with Math (started that first), moved on to verbal but kept math going just a bit (a few days a week) with 90% focus on verbal. After another month, I switched to full-length tests (60%), 30% verbal and 10% math - I was better in math, so did not need so much on-going practice.

rezrehman: If you want an intro to quant basics, I highly recommend the Kaplan GMAT Math Foundations book which has just come out recently.

Also, if you plan to buy the complete Manhattan prep set, I'd recommend buying it on Amazon instead of the MGMAT website. Amazon sells the guides at $17.16 per guide, which is around $137 for all eight guides. That is a saving of around $87 over the MGMAT website price of $224.
