Hi All,
I got an interview scheduled for 20th June. Got the email just today. Can someone help me with the interview questions.
Also if anyone can shed some light on post AGSM options??? PR is a problem in Aussie, but is it in AGSM recruitments too?

My Interview was fairly good and my interviewer was Mark Stewart I think he is the MBA advisory head or something. He is very comforting.

I was asked general questions such as:
1) why MBA
2) why agsm
3)Current job profile
4)extra currecs

I could answer all with much confidence and vigor. Fumbled in one question i guess. Hoping for best and praying all goes well.

I am pretty new to GMATCLUB but have been following this forum for years. I applied for AGSM MBA 2014 R1 and had an interview on Jun 24th. Today I got an unofficial confirmation of successful candidature. Email confirmed that official details will follow soon. I am really glad with the offer. I would like to meet others in this forum and would like to share with my experience that include PR.

My interview was with Prof.Mark Stewart. It was general questions :
1> My current Role
2> Why MBA
3> Why from AGSM
4> You know anything about Sydney?

At last he asked if I have some queries regarding the course or AGSM. It went as usual. In total interview went for 20 minutes. My interview was on Skype and later switched to Audio because of connectivity issues

Hello

I also finally got interviewed yesterday on 1st July. My interviewer was Mr Jonathan Jones. He is the Director, MBA Student Recruitment. Very nice and easygoing guy. Interview went on for 25-30 minutes. We had discussion on following topics:
- My current job profile
- Why MBA at this stage
- Why from AGSM
- My Future goals and any target companies.

It was a smooth affair and now I am waiting for the their final decision. Looks like I was one of the last to get interviewed. He mentioned that in enxt twor -three days they will finalize the first round list.
Please let me know if anyone else received any formal call for admission ?

I also had an interview on 2nd of July and got an unofficial confirmation.Could anyone tell me about PR problems and if getting a job is an issue even after AGSM for Indians, although it is one of the best schools down under.

Hi. I had my interview yesterday, July 3rd. My Interview was smooth.. Nothing odd about the experience. It was for about 32 mins. Following were the discussion topics in the interview
- My Current Job profile
- Why MBA
- Why AGSM
- About Sydney life and where I would like to work after MBA
- Career goals and target firms

... Me too got my Aus PR recently and currently residing in Atlanta US. I have to make my first entry to Aussie before Sep. Good to know we are on same boat. Let us all wait for official offer letter!! :shock:

Looks like we are getting to know a few candidates who got unofficial offer from AGSM. Congrats to Anju, GsSumesh, Shailaja, Mohit....

I also received an unofficial offer this morning. I am really happy and planning to accept the offer.
Btw my profile is :

I think all the people who are getting the offer, we should start maintaining an Excel sheet so that we can start keeping in touch. Later on other round successful students can join us .

Hello All,

Congratulations to all who have made it so far and all the very best to people who plan to apply for R2.

I was also interviewed on 3rd July and received an informal acceptance email from AGSM. Seems like most of us are from IT background. Good to see the average experience coming out from the selected bunch. I am also working as a tech Manager in a Digital Marketing Agency at their Gurgaon office with 11 years experience.
