Same case here. I received a scholarship initmation email, but in the attached file I didn't see any amount mentioned. I have mailed admissions deptt of AGSM. Lets wait and see.
Have been missing in action past few weeks.
I will share what all preparations I have been doing from my side.
Education Loan: SBI is the best as it offers upto 30 Lakhs as comparted to other banks which offer only 20 Lakhs. So have applied with SBI ( though it ias a real pain ) . You need to be pateint with SBI Loan process. It is definitely worth the pain.
Student Visa:I initially plan to apply for a student Visa, as I know PR visa can take 5-6 months time. Also If you receive two visa , the last one will over-ride the first visa. So it is better to go for a STudent Visa and later apply for PR. For Visa I have approached IDP education. They are specialist in this domain and they will also not charge any fees, as they get a direct cut from the university. Also they will make sure I submit all the correct documents. This decreases the amount of time it takes to grant the visa and rejection chances also decrease. As our course starts on 13th Jan, so we can only apply starting from 11th September for Student Visa (four months before course start date).
Accommodation:I feel for initail months we should stay near to the campus, preferably in the University accommodations. Though they are slightly expensive, but it will help us get acclimatized with the City and course. I have done some research but most of the Univ accs are currently full and you need to enlist in the queue. You need to pay a small token amount to do that. Or else we can form groups and can search for a 4-5 bedroom shared accomadation.
OSHC:From the DIAC site I can see there are 5 options. I think AHM was the cheapest. Though UNSW preferred partner is Medibank , but we can opt for our own choice.
