Hey Greywine,

IDP Education is for Student Visa process or the PR process. As I'll be needing some expert guidance for PR as well I was looking for some consultations on the same hence a lil confused over here on the role of IDP. Kindly let me know.

For Acco, I have been contacting two UNSW residential collegs.
1) New College Village ($340 weekly, $2500 deposit)
2) Unilodge @ UNSW ($373 weekly, $500 deposit)
Both are equally good. Facilities and price : almost same
Both have multi share 3-4 BHK serviced apartments.

Hi Shailaja
IDP education is only for getting u admission in courses and then arranging for student Visa. I am only taking their help for getting my Student Visa Done. Btw they also told me that Streamlined Visa Processing ( which has been offered to us) can only be availed via an agent. IDP is one. Though I am not sure about that. But as they know inside out about visa processing, so I am going with them.
For PR visa you need to contact some other Visa agencies like Y-Axis. Though they charge u a lot. I am doing it myself.

For Acco i haven't started my process. But If I am not wrong I was getting good option for around $250 in Univ Acco in 5-6 bedroom shared apartment.

Also I think we should carry on these conversations on private group. I think this thread was meant for getting admission into AGSM and not about "what to do after getting admission"

We have started a facebook group, please join that. Also yesterday I received a mail form AGSM , where our fellow coursemate "Julian Taylor" has started the same on Facebook and LinkedIn.

Hello Guys,

I need to make a payment of $4000 as AGSM applicant deposit. My Credit card limit is less than the required amount. Is there any other way through which I can deposit the amount (online)?

Has anyone applied to AGSM for Round 3.

I have applied in the3rd round. I had queried Marina last week and she told me that the applications for the R3 would be evaluated by the admissions commette from 14-Spetemeber onwards. And all the application processes would be complete by the month end, including the sending of offer letters to the successful candidates.

Hey Congrats to all who have made through to AGSM MBA,

Quick query regarding the Visa.

Is the IELTs score compulsory for visa applications ? I haven't given the test as AGSM didn't ask me to give the IELTS.

Well I am not sure if its compulsory today but it was compulsory 8 years back when I applied my student visa. However, you can check on immigration australia website.

today i had the interview with Jonathan Jones and it went on for 35 minutes. It was a smooth affair. Questions
leadership/responsibilites
a question about my own venture
why mba
why sydney and agsm
2 more questions
few questions from my side

I was told by Jonathan that next week the adcom will meet to shortlist the candidates and offer would be sent after that. The whole process would be over by end of next week.

Who ever have got interviewd please share your experience and details.

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum. Congratulations to all the members who have already got the admission offer. I have applied for the R3 and had my interview yesterday ( 30th Oct). The interview as conducted by Mr. Mark Stewart. The interview was fine and i felt it was more of conversation . The questions were

1) How did I land up in South Africa ?
2) Current work profile
3) Why MBA ?
4) Why AGSM ?

Apart from the above questions, I was told that I will have to answer one question via email. The question was "What are you made for" ?

By next week Tuesday ( 5th Nov), the admission committee will let me know the outcome. ( Fingers crossed).

I was in round 3 but there are some candidates who are still waiting. I think my interview was very early for the round 3. That's why my outcome came early. Yours should come all by end of next week. One thing for sure is my Diwali is going to be happy and great
