Hey all!!! I am new to the forum, however, I've been reading posts on here over the past few weeks and love the sense of community!
Anyways, I started my GMAT studying journey back in late February. To be completely honest, I studied in a "lazy" manner, utilizing Kaplan self-prep material only, for about 2-3 hours a day, 3ish days a week, from late February to early April. To no surprise, I got a 600 on my last practice CAT, after completing all of the study material in the Kaplan self-prep book. To date, I've taken 4 CATs, went from 530 (43% Q, 51% V), to 560 (41%Q, 63%V), 600 (49%Q, 58%V), and 600 (49%Q, 58%V) (spent two days in between the last two CATs). Noticing that I clearly was not disciplined enough to achieve my desired score (700+), I decided to turn to the public forum(s). I now see why I did so poorly, clearly 2-3 hours a day, a few days a week, is not enough!
About a week and a half ago, I decided to leave Kaplan on the side (have one practice CAT left), and signed up for the Knewton online-course study. Along with Knewton, I have ordered the
OG 13th Edition w/ Companion. On my first diagnostic Knewton CAT, I got a dismal 560 (33 Q, 35V), not sure how I dropped from 600 to 560, but I did. I have been spending about 4-5 hours a day, taking the Knewton source very serious, and plan on starting the
OG practice sets relatively soon. I am set to take another practice CAT in about a week.
Make a long story short, I am clearly hurting in the quant section (especially number properties). I have been spending extra time on that, actually just covered it in the Knewton course and have become very comfortable with how to tackle those types of problems. I am scheduled to take the GMAT June 22nd. Any particular advice??
