Question Stats:

100% (01:39) correct 0% (00:00) wrong based on 0 sessions
The sum of squares of 3 positive distinct integers x, y and z is 75. What is x+y+z?

A. 17
B. 16
C. 15
D. 14
E. 13 (Ans)

I had trouble solving this question. Is there a simple way to solve this?

Concentrate on numbers close to 75,which are squares.

6^2, 7^2,8^2

out of this 7^2 = 49. 75-49 = 26
25+1 = 26

hence 7^2 + 5^2 + 1^2

7+5+1 = 13
