Well, I think if we automate the question via club challanges then finding a best question daily will not be a bit daunting. :) Yes I mean it. Club challanges are used for 50 Quant score so definitely these are the best.

Best of luck!!!

I think we can figure something out :)
Thank you again!

That definitely sounds good. I more vote from my side to automating the "question of the day" from the gmat club challenges.

Also, if possible, encourage people to post the explanations along with their answers. In return the GMAT club challenges will have a huge database of explanations.

Thank you for the suggestion - this is a really good idea.

The easiest probably would be to automate GMAT Cub tests - we have 900 math questions and 240 verbal - that's enough for 4 years if 1 question per day

Not only for 4 yrs, it would be for lifetime. Who remembers if one start rotating the same 900 questions again after 4 yrs

I certainly think a question of the day is a great idea. Following up on a previous post, posting the answers is also VERY IMPORTANT. I've seen other daily gmat question e-mails that did not always post an answer. This ultimately lead to a great deal of frustration.

This is a great idea! And as someone mentioned, posting the response would be good too.
I just received an email from GmatClub saying that this friday we will have free access to the hard question database... this is the greatest idea! :-D Thank you GMATclub

Or maybe you get yesterday's answer with today's new question. Sometimes you don't have the time to go searching for the answer.

I was just trying to remember back to when I signed up. I thought that I signed up for a question of the day but when I didn't receive it I was disappointed. I think it is a great idea.

You bring up a very good point. What is the best way to structure this?

1. To have only an answer (A, B, C, D, E) in the same email
2. To have answer and explanation in the same email
3. To have only a question in the email and provide a link to answer/solution/discussion
4. Send solution/answer the following day
5. Other.

I totally agree with this initiative, a mail with 2 questions via e-mail and the solution in a link does the trick. Having the solution on the same e-mail seems too easy for me.
I believe this will contribute to the motivation on the GMAT preparation.
thanks

I think the answer the following day would be perfect so we can really have time to think about an answer and not be tempted to check...

My vote... This way, people who are very much eager know the answer can find it on the same day. Also we will come to know different possible ways to solve any question type through the discussions.

Two points.

1. I support the idea of pasting a link to the answer in the question mail. To get the answer a day later will not help much as the momentum will be lost.

2. We can also think of creating a button on the main forum page with title "Question of the Day". On clicking it, users can have the access to the question, with a link to the answer. It will also serve the purpose & will definitely be helpful for a vast majority.

Thanks guys - appreciate the input.

Sounds like both the correct answer and the solution should be linked and not included in the email. We can always adjust later if this does not work.

LOVE this idea, thanks for bringing it up. And I like the idea of having the answer linked in the email. That way, if I don't get to it that day, I can save the email in a special folder for later. Happy Thanksgiving!

That would be great!
Is there a way to know how many people got it right and how many got it wrong? (Like a survey result sort of a thing)
Kaplan has this feature, if you sign up to the group on Facebook you can do a few questions a day. (if anyone's interested!)
