Hi Rich,

I have been studying for a month and devote 3 hrs to studies daily.

I have been practising with the og15 and verbal review .
Also practised question available on the forum.

I did the manhattan test with awa ir quant and verbal. Didnt do the awa in gmat prep .

I analyzed the gmat prep and realised that i got most of the sentence correction wrong (10 out of 17) which is unusual as i have been doing well in SC.

I have not purchased any CATs ( although i have access to 5 800score CATs .

Is 15 days too less a time for me to improve.

Kindly help.

Since you know that your weakness lies in SC (GMAT Prep tests are dependable), you might want to start there. If you can make a major improvement in that one section, 700 may not be out of reach. To help you in that endeavour, I am giving you the link to our full SC video: https://www.gmatclub.com/forum/veritas-prep-resource-links-no-longer-available-399979.html#/free-gmat-lesson/

It will be a bit of a rush job in 15 days and you can choose to postpone the date if you want to give a better shot. If you do that, then you can consider buying some practice tests and GMAT curriculum to focus on your weak spots. If you want to go ahead with the test date, focus on SC, keep practicing everything else from the resources you already have (since you wouldn't have the time to go through any new resources you might buy at this time) and hope for the best.

Hi Akash,

Since you've been studying for just a month and you've taken just 2 CATs (one without the AWA), we don't have enough information to properly predict how you'll score on the Official GMAT. Many Test Takers spend 3 months (or more) on their studies before they hit their 'peak' scores, so would likely benefit a great deal from some additional study time.

1) What are the exact application deadlines you're facing?
2) If you scored 680 on the GMAT, would you retest or stick with that score?

Hi Rich,

The deadlines that i am facing are for Tepper, Wharton and Kellogg. The deadline is around January 5, 2016.
If i score 680 i would definitely retest.

Hi Akash,

Official Score Reports are usually available within 2-3 weeks of taking the GMAT, so if your application deadlines are in early January, you still have time to study and take the GMAT more than once if you choose.

I suggest that you take another FULL CAT (with the Essay and IR sections) this weekend and try to make the experience 'match up' with your current Test Date in as many ways as possible (so take the Test away from your home, at the same time of day at your Official GMAT, etc.). That score should give you a better idea of your overall readiness to take the GMAT and should give you enough time to reschedule your Exam if you choose.
