Hello Everybody,
This is my narrative of my actual GMAT I gave on 29 November. Unlike others', my experience was completely different. I got an IR score of 5 (which was as expected). The AWA section was a breeze and I'm confident of getting a 5+ score. The topic was very simple and had tons of flaws in it.
Then came the quant section. The levels of questions I was getting made me feel like I must be close to a Q50.
I got 4 questions based on probability!! The first question on probability was within the first 10 and was not that difficult. But, the next 3 scared the poop out of me. I have read many reviews on the forum and people usually got 2 questions on probability at the maximum and if they were doing really good on the test. So, I'm actually quite baffled as to how did I get so many probability questions (yes, It's my achilles heel
) and how did my score vary so much from the mocks I gave.
Also, I marked my response on the last question in quant but ran out of time before confirming the response. I asked the proctor if it will be counted and she said that It will NOT be counted if it was not confirmed. I was a bit disheartened but I thought the quant section went well and decided to have a go on verbal.
After 2 SC, the third was a short RC passage with 2 questions, then got some SC followed by CR. Within the First 12 I got 2 RC passages and the second passage passage was pretty nasty one with 4 questions. I got many weaken, couple of logically complete, evaluate, assumption, strengthen and a flaw question.
I want to give another shot at the GMAT. So Please help me out guys!
Here is my breakdown of the mock tests I gave.
