Hey !
Was the field GPA mandatory in the GMAT application form ?
Even if you filled that way, it doesn't harm anything. Don't worry about that.
When GMAC reports your score, they would only report your GMAT and not other data. Other info is for their database.
Moreover, to be on the safer side, when you are submitting an app to the school, you can just mention to them that you mentioned converted score on GMAC. (Although its not needed, but for your own mental satisfaction you can do)
Also, generally they universities in India provide a letter that this GPA is out of 10 and there is no way of converting this in any other format. I got that from my university in India. You can check about that. !
Hope it helps !
Let me know if you have more questions.
Cheers !

Hi,
During registering for the GMAT exam, there was a question on undergraduate GPA and since I completed my undergraduate in India in a university that has a scale of 10 rather than 4, I simply converted my score arithmetically and continued with registration. After some reading I understand that adcoms mention that we shouldn't be converting our GPAs and should be reporting them as is. Do I get to report my GPA as is during my actual application and does the GPA on the GMAT score report not matter (There is no place on the GMAT site to report GPAs other than out of 4).
Thanks!
