You can help with the insider information at Tepper

I know things will get tougher once you reach Tepper, but we will be looking out for all the contributions you can make.

Just FYI: Kinjal is a Round 2 admit at Tepper and has received $$ too along with his acceptance packet 8-)

So he is just the right guy to ask all your queries.

P.S. The dates are not updated as the school has still not released the dates. Will update them as soon as the dates are released.

Somebody asked me about financial forms to be submitted during the application submission. More (Under international applicants): https://tepper.cmu.edu/prospective-stude ... ions/apply

The financial documents are optional and you need to fill up and send those forms when you are offered admit and you want to join. Filling and sending the forms doesn't have any bearing on the admit or no admit. So complete the application forms in its entirety.

I can understand the anxiety levels but it will be put up soon. In the mean time, connect with 2nd year students and know about the program as much as possible and how Tepper can help you achieve post MBA goals.

They were exactly the same. I am planning to copy paste the same answers

Apart from these, there were two other in the application questions, which I do not think they would discontinue this year too.
Here they are.

What is your professional goal immediately following graduation from Tepper? (1500 character)

If you are not successful in your first choice of role after graduation, what other role would you consider? In other words, what is your Plan B?* (1500 character)

I am too lazy to open the application and verify them, if some one can please verify if they are still there, I would be very grateful to you :D

The apply online Page shows this-

"THE APPLICATION FOR FALL 2016 WILL BE AVAILABLE IN MID-TO-LATE JULY"

I saw the questions on the essay and recommendation section of Tepper website. I think they haven't updated this section yet. These questions are most probably of the previous years. My enthusiasm got better of me I guess

The Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University has posted the following application deadlines for the Fall 2016 MBA admissions season:

Application due: October 5, 2015
Decision notification: December 15, 2015
Round 2
Application due: January 4, 2016
Decision notification: March 23, 2016
Round 3
Application due: March 15, 2016
Decision notification: May 16, 2016
Round 4
Application due: May 1, 2016
Decision notification: June 1, 2016

Candidates should note that Round 4 is reserved exclusively for applicants to the part-time MBA program online or on-campus. No full-time MBA applications are accepted after Round 3.

The Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University has appointed Kathryn (Kate) Barraclough as the new head of its MBA program, the school announced Wednesday. In her new position, Barraclough will provide strategic direction for the program in alignment with the school’s mission and values, and represent the program to current and prospective students.

“Kate Barraclough brings an impressive and broad background, ranging from academia to financial services. Her achievements as a scholar, researcher and educational leader were fundamental qualities that led to her appointment,” says Robert Dammon, dean of the Tepper School.

Barraclough will work in conjunction with the Dean’s Office and the faculty responsible for the development and delivery of the MBA curriculum. She also will maintain direct responsibility for the various operating units of the program that oversee admissions, financial aid, student services, and career planning and employment.

“It is a privilege to be able to serve as the next head of the MBA program at the Tepper School,” says Barraclough. “With its dedicated faculty and enthusiastic, high-performing students, I believe that the Tepper School has shown a high level of excellence and powerful potential for continuing its legacy of pioneering ideas and new practices within the management education arena.”

Barraclough earned her Ph.D. and bachelor’s degrees in economics and commerce from the Australian National University, where she graduated with first class honors.

How likely are Indians to get scholarship even with low (710) GMAT scores? From what I have heard, its pretty unlikely...anyone has any takes on this?
