I would advice students to first familiarize themselves with the different question types on the GMAT prior to taking the official GMATPrep practice test. For this I recommend picking up the current Official guide to the GMAT going over the different question types and practicing the easy questions in each category, for example the first twenty questions in each section. If you don't have access to the official guide, you could also use the practice questions that come with the GMATPrep software. However, I still prefer the easier questions in the Official Guide for the warm up. The purpose of this initial warm up is to eliminate the shock one gets when taking GMATPrep cold, which is a daunting task. Also, you would not be wasting time figuring out how data sufficiency is structured and your initial baseline score would be more accurate.

Cheers,

Hi BrushMyQuant

The link grockit.com does not seem to work. Has it changed?

Hi susheelh,

grockit.com has been shut down by Kaplan and supposedly has been folded in to their own prep services.
