St1: B > A
Assume B = 2; A = 1 --> A/B = 1/2 --> not an integer
Assume B = 2; A = 0 --> A/B = 0 --> integer
Not Sufficient

St2: A and B are not 0.
Assume B = 1; A = 1 --> A/B is an integer
Assume B = 2; A = 1 --> A/B is not an integer

Combining St1 and St2, B > A; A # 0 and B # 0
0 < A/B < 1. Therefore for positive integers A and B, A/B is not an integer
But if A and B are negative, say, B = -2; A = -4 --> A/B is an integer
Not Sufficient

ST1: B > A
B can hold the value of 0, +ve and –ve .
Case 1: B =0, A =-1, A/B = Undefined
Case 2: B =1, A =0, A/B = 0 (Integer)
ST1 -Not sufficient
ST2: B∗A≠0
Case 1: A=10, B=2 , A/B =5 ( Integer)
Case 2: A=-10, B= 100, A/B = -.1 (Not integer)
ST2 -Not Sufficient
Combining ST1 & ST2:
Case 1: B=10, A=5, A/B=.5 (Not integer)
Case 2: B=1, A=-1, A/B =-1 (Integer)
Hence Insufficient.

Here if A was positive than we could say C is sufficient
Here E is the answer

Hi,

any Q with variables -- CHECK the variable for integers, + and -, fractions

B and A are integers, so B and A have to be checked for +,-, or 0

lets see the statements--
(1) B>A
If B and A are same value and reverse signs.. ans will be YES
if B is a positive integer say 1, and A is any integer<1.. ans is YES
If both B and A are positive integers, ans is NO..
different answers..
Insuff

(2) \(B*A\neq{0}\)
B and A can take any values to fit in--
If B and A are same value and reverse signs.. ans will be YES
if B is a positive integer say 1, and A is any integer<0.. ans is YES
If both B and A are positive integers, ans is NO..
different answers..
Insuff
