I got this question from another website where someone "claimed" this is from real test. Can't vouch for the authenticity of the claim. Could be from an old paper based test.
Anyway, do not think too much about the source, post your answer and let's move on. I'm changing the title of the post, since it is distracting people little too much.

I say (E)
It is narow enough.
A and B sound logical, but it requires extra knowledge (not narrow) like social behaviour of people when get familiar.
Besides, I think A and B are the same idea (familiar people would not tip extra).
What do you think?
(First post by the way, Hi everyone).

A is my pick...........
B sounds a little dicey in the sense that , what if THE SURVEY IS WRONG.

One more B. Negate B, the argument falls apart

Why not E?
B talks about regular tipping haits which may be high or low. Nothing is mentioned in the passage. No?
