Hi Friends,
My apologies if I'm posting it in the wrong place as I'm not sure if this is the right discussion forum where i should be posting my queries related to the MBA program I'm planning to go for.
I'm a 2010 graduate(B.Tech) and have been working with a well known MNC in the I.T field since then, gaining a rich work experience of 3+ years.
Now I wish to go for an MBA program as I.T is not the field where I wish to build my career. I want to get into some field where interaction among people and doing some actual creative work is preferred over interacting with the computer and being within the four walls.
I'm an outdoor person and an avid traveler and want to make my career in Travel and Tourism. I tried looking over the web for information related to MBA in Tourism and that is how i came to know about GMAT Club.
Now, as Travel and Tourism is relatively an unconventional stream, I get some inhibitions about this course. First of all, i was unable to find much precise and relevant information over google and secondly, i was a little let down by the only ranking i found, of the Business Schools offering this program on Best Masters as most of these schools offered MBA in Tourism along with Hospitality Management, which i don't aspire for and secondly, none of these Schools fall under the list of top-ranked Business schools, which means that no good Schools offer this program.
Kindly provide me information about this program, the kind of placements we can expect on the completion of the program, which Schools hold a good ranking for this program. I'm in a great dilemma as I'm planning to do something non-mainstream and to make it worse, I'm unable to find good Schools with this course.
Guidance needed!!
Thank You!
