(1) n^3*(1-x^2) < 0

1-x^2 > 0 ...that is true for this inequality to hold true

x^2 < 1

x can be between -1 and 1..not sufficient

(2) x^2 -1 <0

x^2 <1 ..x has to be between -1 and 1..so insufficient..

Combine....nothin we dont know

I think E.

thanks

form stat1. x is between -1 and 1 for both +ve and -ve values of n. (insuff)
stat. ===> x is between -1 and 1. (isuff)
combining still the same.

I agree with Houston. Vote for E.

A is not sufficient because we dont anything about n
B is not sufficient.

(x^2-1) < 0 means
(x-1) * (x+1 ) < 0
if x = -0.5 we have a -ve result and
if x = 0.5 we have a -ve result.
So we cannot tell from B either

If we combine A and B
X^2 -1 < 0 is same as X^2 < 1 then
1-X^2 will be -ve. Again we dont know anyting about N here
So C is not the answer.

E has to be the answer.

Has to be scorpion because there is no lobster sun sign. Looks like a data sufficiency discussion.
Not sure if chinese sun signs have anything like lobster
So I will stick with E
