Just another data point, my app went under review on Feb 10, and got invited to interview on 3/5. I visited for two days last week and between the two days there were probably around 8-10 ppl total that were being interviewed.

In addition, the admissions director, Christine Sneva gave birth to a baby the week of 3/5 and was going to be out for that entire week, possibly more. I can imagine the admissions office is a bit overloaded at the moment, but if they are behind schedule it is totally understandable given the circumstances.

Thank you Sarah and you are absolutely correct it was positive news - I became a US permanent resident, got my Green Card.

I just called them and they have changed my application profile. It feels good.

Hi All,

I was accepted R2 to Johnson and was accepted to Stern last week. It was a very difficult decision, but I chose Stern for a variety of reasons.

Best of luck to all those who've applied and waitlisted, and hope of you will be able to take my space.

Hi,
I am an international, and received an invite last night...It says that I should contact the Adcom to arrange an interview in Ithaca...However, it will be strech for me to fly to Ithaca...The Adcom's post does not offer any alternatives; it says only contact us by this e-mail or whatsoever...

I think it is received positively by Adcom for an internation to fly to Ithaca to conduct an Interview ?
What should I do guys/gals? Any recommendation will highly be appreciated...

Since you're international, you can explain your circumstances (why you can't fly in even though you REALLY want to) and ask if it is possible to interview off-campus with an alumni, and if there are none available in your area, then ask for a Skype interview. I'm not international, but I might as well be considering I'm in Hawaii. Plane tickets were from $1200 to Ithaca so I emailed asking about alumni first and when there were none in my vicinity, interviewed with an adcom member over Skype.

Of course, while they would love it if you flew to Ithaca, it is not ABSOLUTELY required. I did Skype and still got in with some $$.

Good luck.

Congratulations to all of those who were accepted. As a 1st year at Johnson I know that you're all on cloud 9 right now! I remember being in this forum last year around this time and it was a great feeling. I do remember having a lot of questions though, so my advice to you guys now would be to definitely reach out to current students. I can even facilitate that for you if you want to be put in touch with someone who is in a particular industry or attended the scholarship weekend last year - basically anything! Living situations...managing the waitlist... whatever questions you may have.

Has anyone received the scholarship info yet? During my admit call they said that scholarship info would be finalized this week and emails would be sent.... I haven't gotten anything.

They said the same thing on R2 calls, one week, but then emails didn't really go out until 2.5 weeks later. So don't worry, it will come.

I'll be doing an on-campus R4 AMBA interview on Monday, going to NYC first then taking a bus to Ithaca on Sunday. GL all you R4'ers!

Who from the GMATClub was at DJ this weekend?!

I was up there, great times esp the museum party, need to catch up on sleep this week

Museum party was awesome.
I was not expecting so many dudes to have their shirts torn off by the end of the night, but everyone definitely had a good time.

haha, those pre-bankers came in SO ready to party. Shades on, double fisting drinks, shirts ended up ripped off, dude was crowd surfing. It pretty much felt like a spring break Vegas party with free alcohol and no dress code. Great way to wrap up an amazing DJ!

Just hoping the 2012 applicants could provide some advice. I'm looking to understand when I should expect to see the 2013 application questions released? When were they for the previous year?

Thanks!

Hi,
Last year dates were around June 23th for the essay questions, and on July 18th the application went live.
I know that this year they have some delays on class of 2014 admission process, and I don't know if it would affect those dates.

Hope it helps.
