Kelley Mendoza or Goizueta MBA?

I recently had the same decision choosing between Goizueta and Kelley. What industry are you trying to break into? I believe that Kelley is strong in marketing and supply chain, while Goizueta is strong in finance and consulting. Do you want to live in a college town or a city for the next two years? I really liked both programs and it was a very difficult decision for me.

Last weekend I attended the Kelley Experience Weekend for admitted students and it was a blast. The collaborative, outgoing, and overall friendly nature of the current students, admitted students, and professors is what really made the decision easy for me. I really felt a strong school spirit throughout the entire community. I believe this school spirit will assist with building a strong and lasting network. School spirit was one of the reasons why I shied away from Goizueta (no sports teams and located in a large city).

Being located in a college town was also a big plus for me because it forces you to make friends with your classmates and build your network. The down side is that companies have to travel further to recruit. Kelley still has some 100+ companies recruit on campus but I believe that Goizueta has the edge of location for recruiting.

Both schools are fairly regional in regards to placement, but I believe with a little extra recruiting and networking you can receive a job anywhere in the nation. Both programs should be able to get you the same job so it should come down to the 'fit' of the program.
