Gents,
I'm apllying to TOP schools this year and got stuck with evaluating what school I need.
I would greatly appreciate if you, gays, could shed some light on the issues I'm concerned with.
My bio:
28 y.e.
Good media and managerial experiene in Moscow, Russia.
A lot of experiene with multinational companies.
Estimated GMAT: 720+ (In another thread I've posted the strategy I've devised how to score 720+).
1). LBS
The more I think about LBS, the more doubts I have. Very respectful people say that many big London companies have made recruitment freeze and the situation is unlikely
to be improve by the time I graduate in 2013 due to unenviable condition of English Economy. It's said that it would be wise to think about attending Columbia or NYU instead.
What do you think about this point of view?
2). NATIONALITY-BIASED ISSUES (ISSUES FOR ME AS FOR A FOREIGNER).
Again, вгу to the recent economic changes, many European and US companies tend to support their native job-seekers and foreigners are a priori in disadvantage. In aggregate
with visa problems, which I'll have to bear to work in European Community or in US, this makes me a little nervous about my career opportunities in US and European Community.
I'm strongly determinded to study hard and earn the place under the sun, but I do not want to be disqualified just because I need a lot of paper work to work in US or Europe.
So,
Are LBS's alumni dramatically affected by the recruitment freeze?
Are these visa's issues applyed to TOP schools's alumni?
