Hi

Please refer to the screenshot. I think the information Y-axis at (0,5) is redundant, because :

We can simply do from "intersects the X-axis at (2,0)" :

0 = 2k + b

=> k/b = -1/2

Thoughts please ?

I agree, we can compute k/b using just the first value. i have seen few(read rare) PS Q's where redudant info is given.i think it falls into one of them, unless thrs a subtle logic we are missing.
it could have made a good DS Q though :D
