MBA for Tech, above 35 y.o.

Hi guys
I would like to ask which MBAs are suitable for my profile.
I am 35, been working in IT tech for 8 years (in programming, systems analysis and project management). My current position is a Senior Systems Engineer in a leading telecom operator in Singapore. I have a degree in Computer Engineering from a top Uni in Singapore. Before IT career, I have a 2-year experience doing own business in Network Marketing, healthcare product and seminar businesses. I am a male Indonesian citizen.
At first I wanted to go to management consulting (I still do) but it seems not realistic as some m/consultants that I spoke to said they prefer younger candidates, and for older candidates they prefer people with strong trajectory in their career progression (quick rise to manager level). Besides, they want a super high GPA & GMAT, which I don't have (my GMAT target is realistically 660-680).
So I think going to tech is a much more realistic goal for me, due to my work experience (ideally joining a tech giant in their Leadership Development Programme upon graduating with an MBA).
I am based in Singapore so it'll be ideal if I get to Insead cos it's fast (1 year) and I don't have to move my family. And according to its MBA brochure the tech giants (Amazon, Google, Facebook, PayPal, etc.) do campus recruiting in Insead and they hire quite a bit.
What are other good MBAs suitable for a tech move? In the US I have heard Sloan, Haas, Tepper, McCombs (I heard the last 2 are not as good as the first 2). How accurate am I? How much is my age a factor to these schools? (But they are still all 2 years so I don't prefer them, unless I am really set to work in the tech giants' US offices.)
How about other 1-year European MBAs like LBS, IMD and HEC? How suitable are they for a tech move?
For a move to tech, if I were to do my MBA in a European school (vs a US school), would it be a disadvantage, compared to a US school?
Thanks a lot.
