Most parents who are generous are good parents, but some self-centered parents are also good parents. Yet all good parents share one characteristic: they are good listeners.

then B(good listeners)->may or may not be A(good parents)
Whats wrong in this...choice B holds true then.Isnt it?

Answer Cannot be B because we cannot trace back from good listeners to bad parents. Good listeners only has a direct connection to good parents. And good parents has a connection to self centered or generous parents.

For the question above yes, some B will lead to A, and some B will lead to C.

We know that All good self centered parents are good listeners. Therefore, there must be some good listeners that are parents that are also self centered.
B is incorrect because it could be possible that there are no parents that are good listeners that are also good parents. IE. the circles of good parents and good listeners do not overlap.

I think it's A.
premise : all good parents are good listeners.
let's say that from a set of X+Y parents, X are good listeners. According to the premise, X are good parents. This is exactly what A means.
I know this post is old, but let's discuss it. Does anyone know the origin of this question?
