haha, I didn't do that well guys!
I actually scored on the lower end of my practice CATs, but certainly not low enough to think about retaking the thing!
770 Q50/V45
Oh no, you too blew the Quant
What happened?
Anyway, congrats on a great overall score!
I would've liked a 51 but I'd hardly consider a Q50 "blowing the quant".
I just couldn't get my brain geared up for the math section at first. I stumbled on some uber-simple math in the first ten problems which forced me to guess on one of the last 4 problems for fear of running out of time. All my practice tests put me at 51 or 1-2 questions off of a 51 so I'm sure that was the case here.
No point in second guessing anything though. I'm more than happy with the results. I keep in mind that I spend three months studying for this test so I could get into a top graduate program. I don't consider this test an extension of myself or a badge of my true abilities to be worn around. I did well enough to meet, and exceed, my goal so thinking about what could've been or retaking to ace the test has no allure for me.
I think you are exactly right. This is a test people and a Q50 is definitely an achievement. So where from here (apart from the islands and pinacolada)
