Yeah plus I'm running my first marathon next Sunday.. its going to be an anxiety filled week for me!

Good luck on your marathon! I need to take up a new hobby, or at the very least, get back in the gym so I can take my mind of this wait. I guess I have one more app for R2, but I don't even want to think about that for another few weeks...

I've put on a few pounds over this app-season. I'd actually canceled my gym membership because I didn't think I'd have time to go anyway! :)

Today was my first day back. The muscles protested!

haha.. yeah my training really ate in to my time for app work.. pretty much every Sunday for the last one month has been wasted coz I'd be too tired after doing my weekly long run to do anything else. But it was good to be able to get away and reflect on things. Lot of my essay ideas came during my long runs.

Good luck with the DC marathon (I presume) :) I ran my first in DC and have fond memories. I know that feeling in the final week before the marathon. I applied to only 2 schools in rd1 and will be busy applying to 2 or 3 in rd2. So, I need to focus on rd2 and cannot afford to be stressed out about rd1 results for now.

Its the Auckland marathon actually! Even I only managed to get two schools in during R1. Luckily I have time off in Dec so R2 apps should be less stressful.
