I checked it myself. Last year the 1st report of an invite to interview/ding came at 10:49pm IST :)

Doesnt Duke interview everyone? irrespective of the quality of your submitted essays and recos? Or has the policy changed for this time around?
Please can someone clarify.

Businessweek's stats show that only 55% of applicants were invited to interview last year.

Of the schools I am familiar with, Kellogg is the only one that has almost everyone interview without judging their app.

My guess is taking the 26% acceptance rate and dividing by the 55% interview rate. So about 47%?

No, if its like last year there will be a 'status update' e-mail and your interview decision will show up on your application page. It will just say "Invited to Interview: Yes or No"

There is an Open Interview period, which normally starts in mid-September and ends in mid-October. Most of the EA and a number of the R1 applicants usually initiate the interviews. When this window closes though, applicants only get interviewed if they are invited by Fuqua.

I believe that some of those who are not invited to interview end up being WL and then invited to interview in the next round.

So is this Open interview period only for on campus interviews or for phone and off-campus interviews as well?

I am sure you wud be thinking what the hell is this guy talking about! But i may have missed this...but anyways wudnt fret about it now coz i had no time for any kind of interviews during that time period.
