That's good. I supposed it is better than being asked some very off-the-mark questions.

The pool there to interview seemed pretty great, as did how they treat their students.

I just found out that my app is being considered for R3 because my recommendation did not arrived until much later...

The adcom told me the new round of invites should be coming out shortly, hopefully I'll be on that list

Although I'm not applying to ASU, I went there for undergrad and can attest to the strength of their Supply Chain Management program. There's also a really strong alumni network (especially in California). I loved it there and I still miss Tempe...it's a great place to go to school...

Good luck to all of you...

Thanks

Its great to hear that WP Carey do carries some weight outside of Arizona but for some reason the school just doesn't enough credit for it

Not sure when the last time you were in Tempe, there are a couple new mall/shopping areas (Tempe Marketplace & Mesa River View) and they took a lot of business away from Mill Ave. ASU itself also had gone through quite a lot of changes as well since I finished my undergrad ... it seems like there are new buildings/dorms being put up every time I go back and visit

It is a great place to attend school indeed

^ I actually haven't been back to Arizona since 2007 but I've heard a lot has changed. I think I even read somewhere that they're building a new business building primarily for the MBA students. New facilities always help the rankings...

Straight from the site:

"The W. P. Carey School is the only Top 30 business school in the nation that has not built a new building in the past 25 years."
Robert E. Mittelstaedt, Jr.,Dean, W. P. Carey School of Business

I agree it's about time for a new building

Just got a letter of admission. It is for their online program, good thing I don't have to quit my job. It lasts 2 years. Now, lets find those $60k for tuition. Any thoughts?

I don't know if the online MBA is different but I did not have to do an interview. I was also admitted to the university of Denver (DAniels) and I was accepted without interview. I picked ASU because of their better ranking, similar costs (compared to Daniels) and I can stay at my current job.

Any idea how the part time MBA program at WP Carey is? I also got an admit from Univ of Maryland but its very expensive as compared the Carey.

I am not sure about the part time MBA is because I currently enrolled on the Online MBA. I must admit that I have learned so much in such short time (started in Jan 13). They emphasis a great deal on ethics, team work and in my case virtual teams. They make you think as a manager and to see things differently. WP Carey is a top 30 B-school and I think is a great investment.
