i disagree. insead has a weak brand name in US. most american alumni and current students i spoke with agree that it's an amazing school, but is not well recognized in the states. it's recognized by top mba employers, but outside of this group, few know it's caliber.

however, it's a great school, epscially if you want to gain international exposure, go into consulting, and/or move abroad post-mba.

"oodl" is right. Marketing team at INSEAD is working hard and companies in the US are now more aware of brand INSEAD than they were couple of years ago. But it is still far from being "popular". However on the education front, they are top notch, right up there with the very best.
