UCLA Anderson 2012 - Calling All Applicants

Just got a fellowship! Fellowship results come out today for those who are waiting..

Great! Phone call, email?

also got my acceptance yesterday evening (around 5 pm pst)...didn't see it until this morning. fyi, it's an email notification letting you know your status has changed with a decision. i didn't get any missed calls even though i'm local.

for those who received fellowships, is it in your admit letter online? how did you hear about it?

For all round 2 applicants still waiting for an interview invite, this is what I got from the admissions office:

"As we had many more round 2 applicants than in recent years, we anticipate sending out interview invitations quite possibly up to just prior to the decision release deadline. We realize this is a very anxious time for applicants and appreciate your patience as we give each application the thoughtful consideration it deserves. I hope you receive the outcome you desire!"

Received a full tuition fellowship via email this morning. VERY EXCITED.

congratulations!!! so you received the admit invite yesterday evening and another email this morning about the fellowship...?

just got my admit call...i asked about fellowships and she said you should be notified at the time you receive your admit decision and if i hadn't heard about it yet, i probably haven't been awarded one yet.

That would definitely make me change my decision... (Haas)

You got it. Got an email about the fellowship around 9:00am and a follow-up call from the dean an hour later.

I was admitted last night. I was notified via email and then received a separate email this morning telling me I got a fellowship as well.

Admits came in yesterday at 5pm PST. Fellowships are being given throughout today, and they come in a separate email.

Anyone interviewed but got no news from Anderson this Fri? I had my interview last week but have not heard anything yet.

"The MBA Admissions office released an early batch of decisions late yesterday afternoon. Please note that this was a relatively small group and that we are still evaluating files, conducting interviews and sending out interview invitations as we speak. Some, not all, admits also received fellowship offers, so be assured that upcoming Round 2 admits will definitely be considered for fellowships as well.

As I mentioned previously, we are still sending out interview invites, and plan to do so for the next few weeks. We are doing our best to evaluate all files as quickly and carefully as possible and really appreciate your patience as we process our biggest round of the year. Our office plans to release another small batch of decisions in the next week or two, but expect that the vast majority of Round 2 applicants will get their decisions on the final release deadine of April 4th."

I sent a mail to the admissions office, and that was their reply.
