Re: what if I skip IR section [#permalink]

Hello,

I have a short question regarding skipping the IR section. I only need the 800-score for my application, therefore I think to skip the entire IR section as well as the AWA. In the GMATPrep software it seems that it's not possible to skip the section, is it possible to skip the section in the real test?

Saludos

You "only" need it? What does that mean? Schools are going to really frown upon 0's anywhere on the test. Plus, they are both good warm-ups for the actual exam. It sounds like self-sabotage to me to skip them.

Re: what if I skip IR section [#permalink]
... I have already signed the study contract and the only barrier is that I need to show up a GMAT with 600 pts. So, my test is 7 days away and I haven't done anything for the IR section. My question is wether it is possible to skip the section?

You can't skip the section. But there is nothing to stop you from randomly guessing all questions. Don't worry, you'll end up pretty close to zero.

Yes, that's correct. You are required to pick answers and confirming them before moving onto the next one. So your situation, you could just randomly guess and confirm so you can focus your mind on the main part of the exam that matters for you.
