Re: ClearAdmit or MBAMission guides? [#permalink]
@IndigoIntentions - I have purchased a few from both CA and mbaMission. The content is similar, and can be found on the schools' websites if you have the time. I still find them valuable though.

I like CA guides' format - very concise and the content is laid out clearly.

I also like mbaMission's guides as they contain verbatim quotes from insiders e.g. current/ex students, adcom. They also have the latest list of top employers and respective number of hires. The CA guides only give you the percentages of jobs in different industries.

Both have generic information about the history of the MBA degree, and they're being repeated across different schools' guides. If I have to choose, I'll give a slight edge to mbaMission's guides since I found the personal perspectives very helpful when trying to determine fit.

@Jon - I like Admissionado's guides. Good job, and thanks!

MBAmission's guide are longer and more thorough, IMO. They do have a generic part shard across all schools.
The section dealing with schools' concentrations\majors is really good, and so is the description of each school's atmosphere.

I haven't used CA, but it seems similar to Veritas Prep's guides, which are short and to the point (20-30 concise pages).
