Cornell launching a new technology focused MBA program in NYC at new facilities. Construction to being this fall.

Interesting. ISB removed it after just one season. Clearly, it didn't work out for them.

Georgetown says that for tweet "essay" its OK to embed video or other content. Thats a very curious way to bypass the 140 character limitation - something to think about if you are applying this year (my words, not theirs)


Edit: FYI: When you pick what schools to send GMAT scores - schools do NOT see who else you picked

43% of men say they are asked to write their own letters of rec
27% of women say they are asked to write their own letters of rec

Japan reporting 61%
India 34%

International: 49%, US: 26% avg

Across industry - finance and accounting is 50% write your own rec.

Suggestion: If your recommender doesnt speak English; have them write in the native tongue, and then pay for a professional translation. Just have the letter say that it was written in another language.

Tuck says they will contact the applicant if they feel something is amiss, but is generally perceived "EXTREMELY negatively" (quote). Encourage people to find an alternative.
