We all wish we could have gotten a job like this out of college!

From what you write here, this dude seems like a one in a million case, and especially if he will apply with the support of this billionaire, he will be a more than excellent candidate. He should probably not settle for anything out of Top 5 (unless he has reasons to prefer another school).

That's one lucky dude...

Yup, I doubt that he would haha. I certainly wouldn't if I were in his position. I just wonder if he should even do it....an MBA might not be worthit in his case I think.

While having that job is great, you have to keep in mind that it's really just an indicator of the fact that he was qualified enough to be able to get that job.

He could probably go to a great MBA program because of his ability to demonstrate the same traits that he had to demonstrate to get that job (IE. Intelligence, hard working, leadership, charisma, etc..)

You make a great point. The same things that got him the job could get him into those MBA schools. I hadn't thought about that aspect explicitly till now.

First let me just say that I don't believe your friend story at all.. I think he is bluffing big time..

Second regardless if you have the best job in the world you still need your GPA and GMAT scores to back up your application. I don't think he is guaranteed in a top 20 school much less a top 5 without knowing more information about him..

Lol if you say so. If it's any consolation, it's on his LinkedIn, and he has quite a few "connections" added at this new job from what I can see. It's legit...unless of course, all those employees are just helping him fake it all? Awesome conspiracy theory lol.

As for your second point, I agree. But then again, he's been scoring in the top 1%+ his whole life on exams, etc. I think he'd be fine ha. I think my other point was that if you have the "best job in the world," why would you ever go get an MBA? lol
