Hi Jon,
Thanks for the reply!
I think i am becoming one of your admirers lately ! you help everyone in figuring out things!
Keep up the good work !

My work ex would be 3 years by the time i matriculate.. do you think that would be on low side(univ i am applying to have 4-5 avg)??
plus i am not sure how the adcoms will view my 2 years part time work ex in non-profit sector (there are significant quantifies results i have put in the resume for this! )

Plus i am in self doubt if i should re-take the GMAT.. but i am pretty sure the increase , if any, would not be more than 20 points!
There has been a lot of concerns for India/Male side with scores on 700+ .. the higher the better seems to be the trend off late .. (damn, we are good with maths !)
what do you think ?

Thanks !

Awwww that's very sweet of you! I really appreciate the nice comments.

Three years by the time you matriculate IS a bit on the low side, esp. for tech cause maybe you haven't done all that. If the time is right for you, you can still apply (I mean it's not one year) but I've noticed that a lot of the less experienced folks who get in are in FinanceConsulting (so they like do their two years of duty, apply to Bschool, and off they go before returning to their industry). So it IS something to think about.

As for the GMAT, if you believe you can only get 20 points higher, then maybe it's not worth a retake (unless you are applying next year ANYWAY, in which case it can't really hurt). I wrote a whole post about it a while back, you can read it here: to-retake-or-not-to-retake-that-is-the-question-indian-153716.html

Hope this helps!
