Then I don't see much problem. I don't think any PT MBA *requires* you to be employed during school, and probably so does USC. However, I am sure AdCom will question you how you are going to attend the program if you are not living in SoCal right now, so you should be ready for that. But besides that, I don't see much of an issue. In fact, many PT student do travel significant distance to attend class over the weekend.
