Columbia vs LBS

Hi all, I realize that I'm in a quite enviable bind, but I'm asking for your advice on my decision.
Short-term goal: Management Consulting (targeting MBB)
Long-term goal: Strategy at a Tech or Retail company
A bit about my background: 7 years w/e in audit and consulting, living in NYC. I plan to work in the US, likely NYC, following my MBA.
LBS
+ Truly global experience in London
+ Many opportunities to travel and meet people from different backgrounds and cultures
+ Based on my budgeting, LBS would amount to be approximately $20k less expensive over the two year period
- Placement stronger in UK/EU. May be more difficult, but not impossible, to obtain internship/ft offer in US (preferred)
- Alumni network stronger in UK/EU than US
- Potential visa / logistical hurdles, but this is the price you pay to live abroad
CBS
+ NYC Factor. Interviews / recruiting are a subway ride away, at worst
+ Places more students in MBB as well as in NYC
+ Lifetime alumni network is very strong in NYC
- I have been in NYC my entire career to-date, looking for a new experience
I understand it is a highly personal choice, but any thoughts are appreciated. I am willing to work a bit harder in recruiting to have the opportunity to live in London, but am wary of shooting myself in the foot!
