Can someone explain how to make choice between C and D.

(D) is wordy and correct comparison is not presented...

Correct comparison of machines presented only in option (C) -

The desktop computer has revolutionized offices procedures more than any other machine of modern times.

Correct comparison form is - X more than Y not X more than has Y

Thanks Abhishek009. Earlier I felt that there is a difference in meaning between C and D. But looking again I feel there is only one meaning and choice C makes that less wordy.

I guess in C office procedures are being compared with any other machine which is illogical.

Choice C - Desktop computer has revolutionized office procedures more than any other machine is ambiguous and can mean 2 things -

1) Desktop computer has revolutionized office procedures more than it has revolutionized any other machines
2) Desktop computer has revolutionized office procedures more than any other machine has

Choice D should be correct answer as it removes this ambiguity.
