Re: In her book, the author discusses her childhood, her desire [#permalink]
Doesn't E change the meaning?

Decribing how she made her first launch if different from
Describing her first launch, Isn't it?

Or am I analyzing a little too much?

A story on her first launch will cover how she made her first launch. No?

We can remove A,B and D since they will result in unparallel sentences. E is better since 'to become' is clear and does not result in an awkward sentence.

I would stick with A, as "How she made her first product launch" is different from "and her first product launch"

In her book, the author discusses her childhood, her desire to become an executive and how she made her first successful product launch.

A) to become an executive and how she made

B) that she become an executive, and how she made

C) that she became an executive, and

D) that she become an executive and that she make

E) to become an executive, and
\

Will E change the meaning. If the author discusses her first successful product launch, this will definitely include how she made her first successful launch.
