Is there a place that lists average scholarship awards by school? I have not seen it anywhere, but very curious.

Off the top of my head, US News includes some information on this, at least indirectly. They have a cost section that shows tuition, fees, books, and living expenses. The next entry is average indebtedness. Obviously, students who self-finance their MBAs or get their employers to do it will have less debt and may not have any scholarships at all. But I think that this data can still give you a very general idea of how one school compares to another.

Business week gives average scholarship amounts and whether they are merit or need based. This is the best info out there.

I was wondering if the people that have been offered scholarships could post their stats here so that the rest of us that are applying later can have something to compare with in evaluating our own chances. Something like:

School that offered the scholarship:
How much was offered:
GMAT score:
GPA:
College you attended:
Work experience:
Type of work:
Extras:

If you can think of something else that might be relevant, throw it in there. If there is already a website with this information, could you let me know? Thanks.

School that offered the scholarship: Darden
How much was offered: $20k ($10k per year)
GMAT score: 760 (49Q, 46V)
GPA: 3.28
College you attended: University of Virginia
Work experience: 3.5 years IT, 1.5 year entrepreneur (RE investments)
Extras: Sunday school teacher at a local church, not much else really

I've been looking for this same information for some time now and I don't believe it is available anywhere. I think a lot of people consider that information to be private and aren't willing to share on a public forum. It would be very useful though. If there was a way to post it anonymously, there might be more interest.

Also, race and gender probably play a large role in scholarship decisions.

This is a private forum, right? Nobody has to post their name. Post anonymously if you like. I think that this sort of info would be great to have, not just for me, but for everybody. Thank you WBF, I hope more will follow your example.

So, nobody else was offered scholarships? I would think given all the 700+ GMAT scorers posting here that there would be plenty of scholarships given. Come on, lets get a nice database going for the sake of everyone. Nobody else thinks this is a good idea?

Ahh..I was under the impression that GMAT club "alumni" still contribute well after they are admitted. I thought that maybe last year's admits have something to contribute. I'm still kind of new here.

Me: GMAT 680
GPA 3.5 from a top 30 University
CFA L1, L2 in progress
3yrs work experience in brokerage

Notre Dame: 10k/yr
Indiana (Kelley): ~20k/yr

Still waiting on a few other schools... I'll likely go to Indy though. I have had some really great interactions with the school as well and they are very excited about me as a student and job prospects.

Is this through 'insider' subscription thought? I don't have it.

Anyways here be mine:

School that offered the scholarship: Ross (Michigan)
How much was offered: $40k, $20k per year
GMAT: 740
GPA: 3.4

No, it's a part of the regular access. It may only be available for the top 30 schools though.
