Is this email for students who got admitted or got invited for interviews or for us citizens?

I would think any US citizen who checked the box gets sent the e-mail

I was also wondering how many people get the essay invite. If it was everyone who checked the box, or only some or what?

I have not been accepted or invited for an interview yet, or even had my application under review, so this isn't about any of those things. But I think you might have to be a US citizen.

This email goes out to even those who have yet to be invited for interview. The fellowship is open only to us citizens.

Because of kavet83's case of having received this email despite still having a status of "received," I assume everyone gets this email.

ok, to throw a wrench into our guesses, I just got this Fellowship reception thing at Stanford on 11/12. I didn't even register or apply to Cornell at all? And they make it sound like I was one of the "select few" who got invited to go to this thing... haha

I didn't apply to Cornell. Never even seen their homepage. Didn't send my GMAT score there either. This is what I got.

I figured it out... it's for Cornell, but it's being hosted at Stanford. But has nothing to do with Stanford.

That was a 900-level GMAT reading comprehension question. kavet83 passed the test!

Thanks kidderek for the link. Now I feel all "special" :P
