river.. sweet... 40" of visual delight.. did u get HD channels too??

the 700 bucks is a well spent investment... all u need is a game console and then u know how to spend ur time instead of writing R2 apps..

Got an HD box but am switching that for an HD DVR after work...moved Tivo upstairs but can't live without it.

I am still hanging up crown molding around my house right now...that will keep me busy until christmas. Then I have to build a deck when it warms up. Need to get all this done by spring so we can list our house to sell.

All a man needs is HD/DVR and a 40 inch screen...the good life. 8-) However, I don't imagine there will be a lot of TV enjoyment next fall, so enjoy while you can.

I got a Samsaung 50" DLP --only 780P --dont wanna pay for 1080P when none of the cable companies telecast channels in 1080P resolution!

Rear projection -57 lbs --yeah tradeoff for a bigger screen...

So cant wait for the ICL Cricket matches to start !

Tivo or DVR --need one --but dont know where one can get a cheaper one....last thing i wanna do before the r2 apps is google dvr!

My cable company gives the DVR for free and its actually cheaper monthly than Tivo. We have a lifetime tivo but its not HD...hopefully it never dies.

I got a 37" Vizio (Costco Brand, good quality, low cost) a couple months ago, loving it. Haven't gone the HD route yet, as I got it mainly to create more space in my living room (I mounted the TV on the wall). Mine is only 1080i, but I don't think I can tell the difference between that and 1080p.

Anyway, my wishlist:

- GPS Nav system, probably Garmin 200w
- Nintendo Wii and the Ravin' Rabbids game (Rayman)

That's it, I think...

1. Assassin's Creed (XBOX 360 video game)

2. Carbo fiber knick knacks for my motorcycles

3. A fedora (styled like a pimp hat)

4. A date with Jessica Alba

I'll take what your wishlist, except reverse the order.

Guys, where do you find time to play Playstation?:))

I'm dreaming about a trip to some hot country and ebook reading device.

Frankly, I do not have the time (with b-school process, small daughter etc.) I just want to have it :)
I read ebooks on my Nokia E70

It has too small screen. Couple of years ago I used to read books on PDA while commute, but now would prefer something in A3/A4 format. It's just more convenient.

I remember Sony had some tablet device meeting your specs, no? Or was it some Chinise company which did it...

I won a free xbox 360 the other day at a Microsoft event :) So now my christmas list is as follows:

1. Lots of dinner invites, plenty of closed list invitations, and success in recruiting.

2. The Orange Box (oh god I've been waiting for this for like 7 years, I was an original TF player and competed nationally in a sniper championship.. placed second.. I know, thats INSANELY dorky, but I LOVED team fortress)

3. Assassin's Creed (XBOX 360 video game)

4. A 2nd controller :)
