The XBOX 360 game protfolio is awesome, I agree... The machine itself is not so :(

Yea but I won it... so it cost me $0 :) At that price, its a good deal...

I had a wii, and frankly, I got bored with it. The games were mostly too simple, the novelty of the system kind of wore off after a few weeks, and the game I was super excited about - pangya - was a total bust, virtually unplayable.

I agree with the current Wii game portfolio. Too simple and can get boring quickly. But I think developers were having a hard time figuring out how to fully utilize the controlling mechanism, so a few good games are coming out this Christmas season that should make the Wii more fun again. It's definitely more fun as a party console than a solo one.

Yeah, I remember you buying Wii as a reward for going thru application process :)

So who here wrote their essays on being gamers?

I dont think I have turned my PS2 on in a year or two...though I have played guitar hero at my brothers and that is the ultimate party game. Nothing funnier than watching some drunk fool trying to play a plastic guitar with buttons.

I believe the wii is simple because it is intended mainly for kids and families...i got bored after 5 minutes. It just doesnt compare to p-station or 360.

River, Guitar Hero is the "ultimate party game". No more quarters or beer pong when u have guitar hero.

I used to game more... loving those 200+ hour RPG/Adventure games. But these days, I have no time anymore, so I'm starting to appreciate party consoles like Wii for quick 5-10 minute games. It's unfortunate that we have to grow up... haha :P

Oh, I'm still very happy with my original XBox. I have a bunch of titles that my friend's bro got down from the States for me. Halo 1 and 2, Doom 3, Half Life 2, PGR 2 and the GTA series. Yes, I like violence - the video game version

helg, you mean the original PC Fallout game? I loved that game, and it's often credited (along with Diablo, which really isn't an RPG in my mind) as the game that revived the RPG genre (then came Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Icewind Dale, and my favorite, the underrated Planescape: Torment).

Yeah, sure! Fallout 1 and Fallout 2. Planescape: Torment... hmmm... I think you've got a reason to envy me... I still have to play this awesome game. :-D Don't think graphics really matter for a good CRPG 8-)

Me too, Kryzak. Looking longingly at my Morrowind expansion pack now - haven't touched it over the past year. Growing up is overrated!

aw man! I LOVED Planescape Torment! I wish I had time to play it again. It was such a different RPG game that I think many didn't appreciate its uniqueness.

Trust me, if I told you all I did as hobbies (or told the adcom), they would think I'm the biggest uber-geek in the world... haha.

Planescape was great. Good, original storyline, too. I miss the old Might & Magic series. A couple of those were outstanding...
