Quality school, hm? ;) They have been sending me emails for months. I am sure most of us would get a scholarship there (not to discredit yours of course).

I had St. Gallen (Switzerland) offer me the chance to get a scholarship worth full tuition. (Although they didnt guarantee it)

In the end, all of that money is not worth it, if you end up getting a degree from a school that doesnt get you where you want to be.

I just found out that I am in at St. Gallen! They have a very early deadline to accept the enrollment (January 31) - way too early before I'll find out anything from my other schools.

I have an admission from Cornell (accelerated program) but I do not have the details for the scholarship because I am out of the country.

Can you please add me to the big list?

Thx

A quick evaluation of the decisions reported so far and its very impressive the success on the club so far.

101 applicants with decisions so far...and amazing 60% have been admitted to at least one school already. (a lot of folks only have 1 or 2 decisions reported).

Out of all the decisions for every school there has been a 40% admit rate.

we are awesome!!!

Though surprisingly our hitrate at UCLA (2 out of 10 or so) has not been that good. Very strange.

GMAT Clubbers' success by schools, these are only for known results. I think some like GSB, Kellogg, and Wharton are for all R1 applicants while some might have a few that never posted results (I thought there were more than 11 HBS and 8 Duke applicants).

Chicago…Applied = 22 Admitted = 9 Success Rate = 41%
Columbia…Applied = 9 Admitted = 4 Success Rate = 44%
Cornell …Applied = 14 Admitted = 5 Success Rate = 36%
Duke …Applied = 8 Admitted = 4 Success Rate = 50%
Harvard …Applied = 11 Admitted = 2 Success Rate = 18%
Michigan …Applied = 16 Admitted = 11 Success Rate = 69%
Northwestern …Applied = 26 Admitted = 10 Success Rate = 38%
Pennsylvania …Applied = 21 Admitted = 4 Success Rate = 19%

Accepted into NUS (National University of Singapore). :)

Probably because of diversity reasons. They average 4000 applications for 150 spaces, most applications comes from Asia, so coming from Europe may have helped.

i think they have something like 30% Max from India, and not all of them are IT. For me that is fine

Particularly if you consider that a lot of the schools in the USA will be 60-80% American where a lot of them will come from i-banking, consulting and engineering!! The main advantage of the top USA schools will be the quality of the candidates.
The main advantage of NUS, is the local brand value, Singapore being one of the places i will happily live in post-mba and its considered one of the top schools in Asia alongside HKUST.

Admits - SMU, Cox with 70% scholarship ( Mainly due to the wonderful interview i had)
Waitlist- Washington University, Olin ( The only reason i didnt get a reject was again an awesome interview, however the reason i did get a waitlist was my score, 680!) :|
Reject- Vanderbilt
