I would add on that. The opposite happened to me. I thought I was doing very well on the Math as I started seeing very tough questions very early. On the other hand, the verbal section was a pain and I was really scared of the results. Results, I scored 710 with Q -44 and V -42... Go figure!!! I usually ace the Quant section and do decent in Verbal.

It is very hard to predict what will happen. Don't despair and keep going when you take the exam.

I had a similar experience with both Quant and Verbal. Never underestimate the importance of the early questions and never leave ANY blank!
