Congrats for a decent score! Q50 is awesome. Any tips on Quant would be appreciated. Did you attempt any GMATClub tests?
You can very well increase your verbal score by 8-10 points in couple of months. What do you think dragged you in verbal (timing, CR, SC, RC)?

Hey man,

That's a pretty good score. I think you are well set on Quant, but you should continue to take regular tests to keep up to your performance.

For Verbal, I think at this point you've covered all fundamentals. I would recommend you to start reading short article and try and get a gist of it. For example economist's articles. Make sure you dont overlook a single line, similar to how you read in GMAT. This would certainly develop the endurance and concentration needed to do well in verbal.

Nevertheless, its a brilliant score, and GMAT score is not the only thing that counts.

noboru,

it is a good score. all you need now is a little bit push in the verbal ... I am sure you can easily get your desired score in verbal. I think you need Q50, v35 combination to cross 700 so you are very very close.

Noboru

What do you mean by strange CR question. Can you shed some light on those?
Was it anywhere near OG ?

For the Quant my strategy is to move very quickly in the first ten questions (1 min per question or a little more) in order to have enough time for the more complicated ones.
I think the GMAT Club Challenges are a very good source.
Be careful with subtle words such as a integer, positive, etc. and of course have all the theory very clear.

In the verbal, definitely the timing dragged me :(

I found CR passages very large, and difficult to have a clear photo of the scenario, with at least 2 answers per question that seemed to be correct...(surely i need more practice...)

OG is a good source of course.

I agree, RC was a pain area for me too. To handle RCs all you need to do is increase the reading speed.... I know its very easy to write, but very difficult to implement.

Though I don't have last momebt tricks for RCs, but certainly with 1 or 2 months practice one can improve a lot. Try searching on google on how to increase reading speed. You will find hell lot of articles. Try to implement few of those by reading articles, newspapers, stories, books whatever you find interesting.

When I started preparing for GMAT, I always used to be short of time for last 7-8 questions in verbal. In my actual GMAT test, it was only the 2nd last questions where I felt short of time.

I am taking the GMAT again in 10 days (took it 3 months ago and got 680(Q50, V31))
This time, I´m looking for a Q51, V35.

Any advice for this 10 last days before to go would be much appreciated.

Best,
